Good morning everyone! I hope you are all high and dry if you live in Texas and especially near the coast. I live near Galveston and the rains are coming down while we await Tropical Storm Bill. It is still a couple of hours out but it’s moving so hopefully it won’t stall out and sit over us for too long.
This is a good day to play in my studio so I should have some new cards to post soon. My grandson is turning the dreaded 16 years old on Father’s Day this year. He is a good driver but it is just one more loved one driving on the road that I have to worry about…..(I have the Mom syndrome even with my grandchildren) lol. So, I have at least 2 cards to make this week. I’m not quite sure how I’m going to make these cards yet as I hurt my rotator cuff this past weekend while I was making up my bed (how does that even happen?????). I really don’t know how that happened, it is a weird phenomenon….lol. I stayed home yesterday due to it is my right shoulder (I’m right handed) and I can’t type or write very well. It seems to be getting better as long as I hold it in one place. (This typing with one hand is not going very fast….lol.)
Father’s Day is this Sunday so don’t forget to make your dad a special homemade card for his special day! He will appreciate the time and effort you put in to making a card just for him to make him feel special! I made this card for my dad and one for my husband 🙂
I just got in my last order from Close To My Heart from the retiring list. I can’t wait to go in and open the box! CTMH is retiring some items and I have the list here.1415-ss-retiring-list. I hate to see some of these items go as the Brushed paper pack is my all time favorite. I’m so glad I bought the bulk pack recently!
Don’t forget to pick up this month’s Stamp of the Month for only $5 when you place a $50 order.
