Mother’s Day is creeping up on me pretty fast. It has been a pretty busy month since Easter. My son and his family had some problems with his house so he and his family have moved in with me temporarily until he gets the issue fixed so I haven’t been in my craft room much this month. I have had to move rooms around and put some things in my craft room to store so my crafting has been kind of bleak lately. I just need to go in there and try to re-arrange what I put in there for now. I have the entire day of Friday to myself so I think I will go in there and see what damage I can do……haha.
I’m thinking about trying to make a card with these adorable cuts for Mother’s Day. It looks amazing but I would definitely change the color scheme. Here is the card I have picked out to make but with the Brushed paper pack below. Tell me in the comments what you think. After I complete mine, I will post it.
My mother’s favorite colors are pink and red so I think I will use my Brushed paper pack from Close To My Heart. I absolutely love this paper pack. I can’t buy enough of it. It will be a sad day when they decide to retire it but until then, I just keep buying the bulk bundles of it. Check it out here…. Brushed Paper Pack.
I’m also going to make some homemade goodies to go with the card but I haven’t decided on what I want to make yet. I found a great website with some good tips. Check out http://www.tipjunkie.com/category/mothers-day/. I don’t normally advertise other websites unless I really use and like them.
How do you celebrate your mother on Mother’s Day?
