Good evening friends, I have been playing in my Craft Addict Studio all day today. I haven’t been out of my jambes yet! Once I get an idea in my head, I don’t stop for anything (unless my honey makes me stop and eat, her her) until I’m done. I have seen all of these mini albums everywhere lately and I have wanted to make one but I did’t want a big one. Even though they are mini, some I have seen are quite large for a small purse. I have wanted to make a mini album that I can fit in my purse and show off my grand children when I go places (and also show off my mini album (hee hee)). I found a pretty simple one online that I thought was cute enough but, I still added a little extra craftiness to it because I love little extra pizzazz and bling. So, after trying to decide on a paper pack, I have started and almost completed this mini album, see pictures below.
This is the easiest mini album I have made so far. No binding, no scoring a million little tiny lines for an hour just to get the backing done, and no score tape unless, you just love score tape and want to use it. I actually do LOVE me some score tape but, I didn’t need it for this project. I have the instructions but I didn’t think to take pictures at the time so I won’t post it today. The next one that I make, I will take pictures as I go and then I will post directions. I really like how it turned out (of course it will be better after it’s decorated.) I like the thinness of the album, It fits perfectly in my purse.
I started out by finding 2 contrasting colors for my album. I chose pink mostly because that is what is sticking out of my paper bin but, I have 4 grand kids that are girls and 2 boys so the girls won….lol. I may make another one just for the boys later.
