I made this card using Close to my Heart Skylark paper pack for the label on front. I cut the first card base in white card stock at 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. I then cut the turquoise card base a little larger 4-1/2 x 5-3/4 to wrap around the outside of the first card base so that I would have a white inside piece to stamp and write on. Then I cut another piece of white card-stock for the front which I embossed using my Cricut Cuttlebug machine. I love that little guy. He makes life so wonderful when I want a little extra pizzazz without wanting any more bling. I used one of the paper studio embossing folders with flowers (I just bought my first CTMH embossing folder but I didn’t want chevron on this particular card). I only embossed a portion of the paper. I turned it so it was at the bottom and half way up the right side of the card. Next, I cut out 2 turquoise and 2 white labels at 4 different sizes. I cut the largest turquoise at 4″ and the second at 3-3/4″. Next, I cut the largest white at 3-1/2″ and the smallest white at 3-1/4″. This gave it more of a dimensional look and it looked thicker and built the card up instead of using pop dots . I really love this look. Next, I used a rubber stamp I had laying around with tree branches and lightly stamped the image at the bottom and through the middle of my label using Juniper exclusive ink. I then stamped it using my Words of Comfort Close to my Heart stamp set. Last I attached a ribbon that I had on hand and then glued it all down to the turquoise card base.
